Brittany, ReceptionistLicensed Veterinary Technician and Receptionist Brittany says, “I really enjoy helping people care for their pets and I feel that our clinic tries to go over and above to help our clients and their pets.”

Brittany has been with the Animal Clinic of East Avenue since August of 2008, but began her career in the animal care field in 2006. She earned her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Alfred State College in Alfred, New York. She is responsible for answering phones, checking clients in and out, filling prescriptions, drawing blood, performing various diagnostic tests, and assisting with exams and procedures.

Brittany's animal family includes a Springer mix named Harley, two cats named Bo and Lola, Lionhead rabbit named Maude, Sand Boa named Kamili, and a Whites Tree Frog named Bubba. With her free time, she enjoys playing with Harley, shopping, cooking, going to music concerts and festivals, craft shows, and planning her upcoming wedding.

Rachael, LVT and Office Manager  Licensed Veterinary Technician and Office Manager Rachael , says that the best part of her job is helping improve the health of our clients' pets. "When you know you have made a difference in a pet's life all of the other times you were unable to help seem to fade away," she says.

Rachael has been with the Animal Clinic of East Avenue since September of 2008, but began her career as a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician in January of 2000. She has a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, and an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the receptionists and technicians, scheduling for the staff, and maintaining the lab and office equipment.

Her pets include a rabbit named Periwinkle; Black Lab named Tino Martino; three cats named Leo, Ellen and Eileen; and two standard bred horses named Miss Pardie Tyme and Magic Man. The majority of her free time is spent with her two young daughters gardening, reading, riding the family's horses, getting together with friends and curled up watching a movie.
